How to set up Microsoft Outlook to send and receive mail (Angani Zimbra)

Setting up outlook to receive email hosted by angani is simple. Below is a step by step guide on how to get started.

Click on the start button and open Control Panel.

Once Control Panel is open select User Accounts and Family Safety

Under User Accounts and Family Safety click on Courrier and a dialogue box will open give it.

Profile

Give your profile a name and click ok and a new window will open. Select manual and click next.

Account Wizard

The next window will prompt for your email account information. Fill it with the correct info

 Account Settings

Your Name: Enter your name which will appear when you send out email
Email address: Enter your full email address
Account type: Select IMAP
Incoming mail server:
webmail.angani.co
Outgoing mail server: webmail.angani.co
User Name: Enter your full email address
Password: Enter your correct password.

Once you have supplied the correct information click on more settings the internet email dialogue box will appear. Under the outgoing server tab ensure you check “my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.

Advanced Settings
Next click on the advanced tab.

Incoming Server: webmail.angani.co

Protocol: IMAP

Port 993 (SSL Enabled)

Outgoing server: smtp.angani.co

Protocol: SMTP

Port 465 (SSL Enabled)
Once the above information is supplied click on ok. 

Ports

Next your account will try login and send a test email. If successful you will see the below.

Test Account Settings
Click close and then Finish.

Done
